Send text and links between devices

Besides files, you can pass short text, such as a link or an address, to a connected device.

Good uses

• A long link from your computer to your phone.
• An address or a note you copied on your phone.
• A code or short snippet you need on the other screen.

How to do it

1. Connect the two devices on the same network or in a room.
2. Select the other device.
3. Choose the text option and type or paste your message.
4. Send it and read it on the other device.

For anything longer than a few lines, send it as a file instead. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive codes unless you trust the other person and the room.
