Send files from tablet to PC

Transfer notes, scans and photos from your tablet to a computer.

Steps

1. Open the official ShareDrop.io website on your tablet and on your computer.
2. Put both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. If they are on different networks, create a room on one device and open its link on the other.
3. Wait until the other device appears on your screen as an icon.
4. Click or tap that icon and choose the files you want to send.
5. On the receiving device, accept the incoming file prompt.
6. Keep both tabs open until the progress bar finishes, then save the file.

Why this works well

Tablets often hold handwritten notes, scans and large photos. A direct browser transfer gets them to your computer without syncing through a cloud account.

Tips

• Keep the tablet screen awake until the transfer completes.
• On iPad, use Safari and keep it updated.
• Zip many small files into one archive first.
