ShareDrop.io not working? Quick fixes

Try these in order

1. Confirm both devices are online and both tabs stay open.
2. Use the same Wi-Fi network, or create a room and share the link.
3. Turn off VPNs and strict firewalls that block direct connections.
4. Update your browser to a current version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari.
5. Refresh both pages and try again.
6. Disable battery saver on phones and keep the screen awake.
7. Try a different browser, then check compatibility.

Guest Wi-Fi and office networks

Some networks stop devices from seeing each other. If that is your case, a room link is the easiest workaround.

Very large files

Big transfers depend on browser memory and connection quality. Close other tabs, and for many small files, zip them first.
